I have been on a wait list for what seems like forever for Eco-Emi. It's another beauty sample subscription service. For only $15.00 a month, Eco-Emi will mail five to ten samples of natural, organic, green, eco-friendly, cruelty free, vegan, vegetarian or Fair Trade products to your door wrapped in chic earth friendly packaging. This is my second shipment and therefore I was offered a free add-on. I chose a Boho Glam lengthening mascara because you can never have too much :-} So I actually received TWO mascaras this month. One is not pictured.

This month, Julep Maven partnered with TrinaTurk and they introduced their new mascara line. The Trina Turk colors are inspired byTrina Turk’s Modernist Maverick fall collection. I stuck with the American Beauty box again and below you will find the contents.

 The American Beauty collection for September included Eileen, an antique white and Hoch, a mod emerald green, as well as a Julep Volumizing Mascara in Jet Black.

I love the colors and if you follow Julep Maven on Facebook you'll find tons of ideas for using the colors to their fullest. Take the colors to your nail tech and let them create gorgeous designs. I only wish I had selected a box that coordinated with my favorite NFL team - The San Diego Chargers so that I could do an NFL nails. Oh well..next time.

I actually love this box more than the May Birchbox. I am madly in love with Not a Perfume by Juliette Has a Gun and will be purchasing a full sized product. It's got one note: amber --- so it's clean and fresh, just like I like my fragrances. I also think the Melvita rose water is quite amazing. I currently use a rose water toner by Burt's Bees and this is the perfect size to put in my carryon. And the Band-Aids by Cynthia Rowley-- so stylish and perfect for a clumsy, chic person like me. I haven't tried the mask but I'll probably carry it on for my next flight. Overall, a great box with a few products I will buy full-sized.
